Turbidity Curtains and Silt Dams

Turbidity curtains and silt dams are used to control sediment in water bodies during construction and environmental projects.

Turbidity Curtains are floating barriers that hold back sediment from activities like dredging or construction. They prevent sediment spread with a floating top edge and fabric skirt, commonly used in lakes, ponds, and harbors.

Silt Dams are structures that trap and settle silt before it reaches watercourses. Used near construction sites or areas with heavy runoff to protect downstream ecosystems.

Both tools help reduce environmental impact and maintain water quality.
